Reflections

Description

my Reflections are a serie of sculptural objects. the bowl shaped objects are reflecting there surroundings creating a communication between the object and spectator.  the bright coloured and mirrored inside , contrasting  with the unique skin that looks more like rough stone, metal of ceramics than glass. creating a magical hypnotising effect pulling the viewer and the surroundings into the depth of the mirrored bowl.

– “The radiant interior of these objects forms a sparkling contrast to the rough exterior. A reflection communicates with its environment and is as changeable as its reflection of that same environment. It is a fascinating spectacle that I transform into glass. Here again I draw inspiration from the environment in which I grew up. Reflections of nature in endless ponds. But also colorful houses along tranquil water edges.
