Berg Krystals

Hidden Beauty. That, in a nutshell, is what the Berg Krystal series is based on. In this series I work a lot with the contrast between the dark outside and the beautiful strong color inside. The textures base themselves on the visual expressions of the mountains around Tromsø. The idea is based on a valuable gemstone or natural crystal that has developed invisibly. And suddenly the object shows its beauty to the world when it is cracked open. Unexpectedly beautiful. Exactly like a mountain crystal.
