Yesterday I visited the exposition of the Rievteld Academy at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam and I was intrigued by your work ‘Burned City’. I thought it worked really well in it’s environment and I loved the glass components, as I see, is a main element in your work.
I contacted you because I’m working on a project called ‘Patroon’, wich means Maecenas or Patron, guardian of culture. The main focus of the project is to get people involved into art, for them becoming Patrons to make the creation of art possible. We mean this not in the financial way, wich have been on for debate in the Dutch media for the last couple of months, but in creative, innovative and free-willingbase ways, wich hopefully will inspire people to contribute to our fantastic, contemporary artscene.
The idea is to create an exposition/party, wich as well shows beautiful, inspiring artworks, as does it contribute to our Patroon-message, of inspiring people to act instead of only watch.
